August, 2017. I got a saxophone by chance. Jupiter SAS-465 Eb alto saxophone, made in 1985.

August, 2017. I started learning how to use this saxophone, by watching videos on YouTube and listening other people’s recordings online.

October, 2017. I bought a portable recorder, and started to record my practice. On the riverside, in rented room and home.

January, 2018. In the name of recording, I built a Douban site. I uploaded some practice recordings, naming them curtly.

June, 2018. First performance. And I was told that there was something wrong of this saxophone’s intonation.

July, 2018. Send it to repair. “It can’t be played at all,” I was told that.

I select some practice recordings before the repairing for this cassette. Cassette is an old medium, and it helped me to summarize the past several months.

Meanwhile, it is a new start for my saxophone.

17年8月，意外得到了一把萨克斯，jupiter465，alto eb，85年产。

17年8月，开始学习使用这把萨克斯，在youtube看视频，在网络听别人的各种录音。

17年10月，买了一支录音笔，在江边，住处，家里，开始录制自己平时练习的声音。

18年1月，以记录为名，申请了一个豆瓣的小站，草率的给平时的录音取了名字，上传一些练习的记录。

18年6月，第一次演出，被人告知，这把萨克斯音准有问题。

18年7月，修管的人说：“完全不能吹”。

这张磁带专辑，放入了一些我从得到这把萨克斯到把他拿去维修之前期间的练习录音，借着磁带这种老旧的媒介，算是给过去的这段时间的一个总结。 同时也作为这把萨克斯一个新的起点。
